Event Technical Committee of the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016 has approved Ayesha Zafar as a replacement player for Javeria Khan in Pakistan women’s squad for the tournament.


Javeria who got injured while batting during Pakistan’s match against the West Indies in Chennai on Wednesday. Because of serious injury she has been ruled out of further participation in the tournament.

21-year-old Ayesha is a right-handed top-order batter, who played two T20Is against the West Indies in Grenada late last year.
