ICC World T20 2016: Shahid Afridi led from front as Pakistan secure a 55 runs win against Bangladesh
Pakistan started its World Twenty20 2016 campaign with a bang, as while batting first Pakistan scored hefty 201 for 5. Shahid Afridi led from the front ant hit a flashy 19-ball 49. Bangladesh was limited to 146 for 6 at Eden Gardens crowd on Wednesday (March 16). Pakistan won by comprehensive 55-run in its ICC World Twenty20 2016 opener.
Ahmed Shazad with his 52 and Mohammad Hafeez with his 64 created the launching pad for Pakistan’s middle and lower order, the due had a 95 runs stand for the third wicket. Later on Shahid Afridi had a go at the Bangladeshi bowling line with his batting and devastated their batting line with 2 wickets for 27.
