The franchises have confirmed their intent to retain some of the biggest names in international T20 cricket. Players like Alex Hales (Desert Vipers), James Vince (Gulf Giants), Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates), Andre Russell (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders), Kieron Pollard (MI Emirates), Wanindu Hasaranga (Desert Vipers), Chris Woakes (Sharjah Warriors), Sikandar Raza (Dubai Capitals), and UAE captain Mohammad Waseem (MI Emirates) will be showcasing their skills once again in Season 2, scheduled to commence in the second week of January 2024.
