On this Defense Day we got chance to celebrate this day by seeing our favourite celebrities in the forces’ uniform. In a series of various music videos are made to show people a glimpse of life of those who protect our country.

In the series, handsome Mikaal Zulfiqar, heartthrob Imran Abbas, and enthusiastic Shehroz Sabzwari, sensational singer Goher Mumtaz and many other artists have donned uniform of forces to pay tribute to the armed forces on this defense day.

Sher Dil Shaheen is one such the national song in the series and it produced by PAF media department featuring Imran Abbas. The video is shot in Kallar Kahar and Sargodha, Sher Dil Shaheen is sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

While talking about his experience shooting for the song Imran:

“I am so happy to be part of this video. It’s a video that portrays real life of our armed forces. This is one of a kind video as both the prestigious entities of Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Army are collaborating for the first time to show the nation a real picture of their efforts and what they all go through. We can’t even imagine how tough and strict their lives are. We just shot the video and they are the ones who actually live this life every day. We started shoot at 3 in the morning and continued for 18 hours. I also got the chance to meet some of the officers who just came back from the operation. It was quite normal for everyone there, but for me seeing those officers coming back from operation after accomplishing their tasks was life changing. Every one coordinated with us and it was a beautiful experience.”

Mikaal Zulfiqar is also part of a music video of a mashup of all the songs of iconic Junaid Jamshed. The music video is shot at various PAF air bases.

Mikaal shared his views about the video:

“I am excited for this video to come out. It was an honor to represent Pakistan Air Force. It’s a day when we should all remember all the sacrifices made by our heroes.”

Shehroz Sabzwari featured in music video of “Mera Yaar” sung by Tahir Ali Bagga. The video is shot in Malir Cantt. Shehroz shared his experience:

“This is a privilege and an honour to me to render my services to the forces of Pakistan in any way possible. It was a great experience. My love for my motherland is supreme and I will never think twice in shedding my life away for my country.”

Goher Mumtaz wrote, composed, arranged and programmed a national song “Ooncha” for this series of national songs, he also featured in its video.

Goher’s song has been released and it certainly has the characteristic Jal beats.
