The diva of Pakistani films and TV industry Sana Fakhar is recently seen working quite hard for her role in the upcoming web series ‘Mind Games’, along with other interesting casts. Mind Games is a project of Picture Wala Productions and is being directed by Farhan Tajammul and written by Inaam Shah.
We recently got a chance to speak to Sana Fakhar about her much talked about and anticipated webs series. Sana Fakhar explained the main idea behind the series, saying,
“The main idea of the series is money laundering and how it is not only a problem of Pakistan but also how it is a global phenomenon. The series covers this issue at a global scale and not as a problem of a few counties only. My role in this series is of a Hindu girl.”
Talking about the experiences of working in a web-series as compared to her previous experience with TV Sana Fakhar said:
“it has been an amazing experience and quite refreshing one because we were open to new ideas and experiments something that we cannot do on TV due to various restrictions. Web series still have a great scope of experimentation and picking up realistic scripts that might a challenge to run on TV.”
Sana Fakhar who is lately seen doing some rigorous work out at the gym and riding her Harley-Davidson bike is very excited to show her hidden talent in this web series. She said:
“The one thing that made me sign this web series is that this is a proper action role and like a proper one nothing similar to what I have done before. As you know, besides my work, I do so many other things such as martial arts, riding a bike and many other things which are needed for an action role. I am excited that I get to do all that in this web series and use these talents for the very first time on screen.”
Farhan Tajammul is the director of Mind Games while the star cast, besides Sana, includes Shamoon Abbas Emmad Ifani and Kiza Razzak. While talking about her co-stars and their roles Sana said, “Shamoon will be seen in a negative role, while there are many other characters in Mind Games but Emmad Irfani, Shamoon and I are the main cast in this web series.”
Sana Fakhar believes that the web-series and web-entertainment is a great idea in Pakstan, “Well my perception and my opinion for the web series in Pakistan would be that it is a great idea. As you know that we are living in the digital era, so we must adapt according to it and I’d say that Mind Games is just a start and I can see a lot of people are making content for digital and putting effort to tap into this potential content goldmine. Web-entertainment is on a rise for sure,” said the film star.
