Inzamam-ul-Haq Takes the Helm of Both Senior and Junior Men’s Cricket Selection Committees

In a significant development for Pakistan cricket, Inzamam-ul-Haq has assumed the role of Chairman for both the Junior Men’s Cricket Selection Committee and the Senior Selection Committee. This dual responsibility underscores his immense experience and knowledge of the game.

The senior selection committee, composed of four members, includes the likes of Tauseef Ahmed, Wajahatullah Wasti, and Wasim Haider, all of whom bring their unique insights to the table. Together, they will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Pakistan’s senior cricket team.

Simultaneously, the seven-member junior selection committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of identifying and nurturing young talent for Pakistan’s U19 team. The junior committee comprises Aamer Nazir, Javed Hayat, Mahmood Hamid, Naveed Latif, Salman Ahmed, and Sanaullah Baloch, all of whom possess a keen eye for emerging cricketing talents.

Their first task at hand is selecting the Pakistan U19 squad that will face Sri Lanka U19 in an upcoming series. Sri Lanka U19 is set to arrive in Karachi on October 12th for a series featuring one four-day match and five 50-over contests. This series promises to be an exciting platform for the budding stars of both nations to showcase their cricketing prowess.

This new leadership arrangement aims to strengthen Pakistan’s cricketing infrastructure from the grassroots level to the senior team, ultimately bringing success and glory to the nation on the international stage.
