One of the finest news anchors and TV presenters, Iqra Haris who hosts DNA, news analysis show, on 24 News HD these days has been associated with media industry for for last ten years. Iqra has surely established a name for her self with her soft spoken yet articulate conduct on screen.
This past week the news anchor turned tv host had a fan interaction session on her Instagram where she answered questions.
When she was asked that how was it facing camera for the the first time Iqra Said that she was not nervous as she had an experience of being in fornt of camera as she did some PTV appearances as a guest during her university and college days.

Iqra’s first TV appearance as a news anchor came in 2009 for City 42.
There were a few more questions and some of them were interesting too ans some were made interesting by the perfect and befitting answers from the TV presenter.
Iqra Haris, previously known as Iqra Shahzad, revealed that she holds a master’s degree in business administration, her husband is a Lahore based lawyer. There was one interesting question about Iqra being one of the only few anchors to still don dupatta on screen. To this Iqra Haris shot back:
“Dupatta or no dupatta is a personal choice and it is not the only indicator of personal dignity. It is the work you do that speaks louder than the outlook.”
Iqra Haris is associated with media industry for almost a decade and has an experience of working with top channels such as City 42, Dunya News, Samaa, and 92 News, besides news anchoring Iqra has hosted various current affairs and news shows along with special transmissions.
