Phil Simmons, the newly-appointed head coach of Karachi Kings, revealed the team’s immediate plans after the recently concluded Players Draft for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9. In a video message disseminated across all Karachi Kings’ social media platforms, Simmons emphasized the urgency to strategize and maximize the potential of their player lineup.

“We’re going to sit down tomorrow and start planning how we do the job,” stated Simmons, articulating the team’s post-draft strategy session. Expressing confidence in the roster, Simmons highlighted the importance of utilizing the players effectively to benefit the franchise.

“The draft was excellent, and we got 90 percent of what we wanted. It’s always good when you get to that,” Simmons remarked, expressing satisfaction with the team’s choices during the draft.

Karachi Kings unveiled their squad for PSL 9, featuring notable names such as Shan Masood (captain), Kieron Pollard, Daniel Sams, Mohammad Nawaz, Tim Seifert, James Vince, Hasan Ali, Shoaib Malik, Tabraiz Shamsi, and others, showcasing a mix of experienced players and emerging talent.
