Karachi Whites Clinch Victory Against Lahore Whites in National T20 Cup

In a riveting clash at the National Stadium, Karachi Whites showcased a dominant performance, securing a commanding 63-run triumph over Lahore Whites in the 12th match of the Super Eight stage of the National T20 Cup.

Opting to field first after winning the toss, Lahore Whites found themselves facing a formidable batting display from Karachi Whites. Khurram Manzoor spearheaded the innings with a solid half-century, hammering 50 runs off 37 balls, setting a strong foundation for his team. Complemented by aggressive knocks from Omair Bin Yousuf (43) and Azam Khan (21), Karachi Whites posted a competitive total of 173-7 in their allotted 20 overs.

Lahore Whites’ bowling attack encountered resistance, with Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Rameez Jnr, and Mohammad Amir Khan claiming two wickets each, while Mohammad Naveed secured one dismissal.

In pursuit of the target, Lahore Whites struggled to gain momentum, losing wickets at regular intervals. Tayyab Tahir’s valiant 36 and Mohammad Irfan’s unbeaten 27 were the sole substantial contributions as the team found themselves at 62-6 midway through their innings.

Karachi Whites’ bowling contingent exhibited a relentless performance, relentlessly dismantling Lahore Whites’ batting lineup. Each bowler contributed significantly, with Sohail Khan leading the charge, clinching three crucial wickets.
