Khalid Latif apologises on spot-fixing, requests PCB to start his rehabilitation

Khalid Latif has accepted his role in spot-fixing during the second edition of PSL and apologised to PCB in writing.

According to the sources, Khalid has written an apology letter to PCB in which he requested higher authorities to start his rehabilitation as he has already served his five-years ban, which ended last year in February.

Khalid, who was found guilty alongside Sharjeel Khan in spot-fixing during PSL 2, is likely to be involved in the rehabilitation process next week.

PCB’s anti-corruption unit will supervise the cricketer’s rehabilitation process during which he will do charity work and give lectures to youngsters. His return to competitive cricket will be possible only in October-November.

Sharjeel has already returned to competitive cricketer after completing his ban and rehabilitation process.
