Skillful bowling from Usma Mir and Half-centuries from Sohaib Maqsood and Sohail Akhtar guided the Muzaffarabad Tigers to a resounding seven-run win against the Overseas Warriors on Saturday in the third match of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) at the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium.
Sohaib Maqsood’s 52 not out and Sohail Akhtar’s 58 not out helped the Tigers to chase the target of 154 with 16 balls to spare. Sohail cracked seven fours and smashed three sixes, while Sohaib hit six boundaries including two towering sixes.

Kamran Ghulam was the leading wicket-taker for the Warriors with his match figures of 2-32 in four overs. Sohail Khan took one wicket.
Earlier, captain Imad Wasim top-scored with 34 to help his side post 153-8 in 20 overs. Sohail Khan played a vital cameo with the bat in the latter part of the innings with his 26 runs.
Usma Mir gave the Player of the Match award-winning performance with his match figures of 3-18 in four overs. Arshad Iqbal hunted two Warriors and gave away 37 runs. Sohail Khan, Mohammad Wasim (jr), and Anwar Ali took one wicket apiece.
This win takes the Muzaffarabad Tigers to the top of the KPL 2021 points table.
