The newest Urdu play of Hum TV Laaj starting this Saturday is another presentation of Momina Duraid Productions. The Cast of the play includes Sabeeka Imam, Iqra Aziz, Zarnish, Kamran Jilani, Saleem Sheikh, Haajra, Asma Abbas, Hafiz Mohsin Ali, Nayyar Ejaz, Mirza Zain Baig, Muhammad Ashraf Rahi, and others. Laaj is written by Edison Idrees and directed by Fahim Burney.
Laaj highlights the life of a selfish and stern woman Bari Sahib, who after the death of her husband turns her father-in-law against his second son – Chaudhry Sikandar and takes control of the family’s wealth.
The story rotates around the hostility between the two of them and Sikandar, after years of unfriendliness proposes to re-unite the family and forget about the past while in reality, he is planning to take his revenge by joining a menacing plan.
