Lahore Qalandars management conducted orientation for the class of 2022 at Qalandars High Performance Centre

Lahore Qalandars, the Champions of PSL7 and the most favorite franchise of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) conducted an orientation ceremony for the class of 2022, Akhuwat a non-profit organization and Starlet a footwear brand were present during the orientation ceremony at Qalandars High Performance (QHPC) on 24th June 2022.

Lahore Qalandars management along with Akhuwat and Starlet distributed the kits to the players in an orientation ceremony.  Furthermore, the management of Lahore Qalandars announces the Scholarship holders of Akhuwat and Starlet which will get a scholarship of one year to train in Qalandars High Performance Centre in addition to that they will get technical and vocational education for their alternative career pathways from the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA).

DCO of Lahore Qalandars Aqib Javed described how players were selected through different phases and explained the syllabus of cricket education along with their technical education and divided this one-year scholarship program into different parts for better learning opportunities for players.

Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib the Executive Director of Akhuwat said, “we are grateful for doing this great cause to help the humanity in some other way, and by being part of this initiative we can open the doors for bigger opportunities, and working together is a great success for our nation as well”.

CEO of Starlet Nadeem Sohail said, “we are very happy to be a part of Lahore Qalandars, it’s just a small contribution from our side to support this great initiative and we are hoping for the best outcomes”.

Lahore Qalandars CEO Atif Rana added, “we are thankful that Akhuwat and Starlet are supporting us in the field of sports because there is a lot of young talent here and we can provide them a pathway and increase the possibilities of sports in our nation that people can take part in it, we hope that we can find the best players through this great initiative”
