Lahore Qalandars Set to Compete in Inaugural Global Super League 2024 in Guyana

Lahore Qalandars are set to showcase their talent on the global stage as they join four other top international teams in the inaugural Global Super League (GSL) 2024, scheduled to take place in Guyana from 26 November to 7 December. Competing alongside teams from Australia, Bangladesh, England, and the West Indies, the Qalandars will vie for the prestigious title and a share of the US$1 million prize fund.

The Qalandars, known for their innovative Player Development Program (PDP), will face tough competition from Hampshire Hawks (England), Guyana Amazon Warriors (West Indies), Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh), and Victoria (Australia). The tournament will be hosted at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, with 11 matches concluding in the final on 7 December.

Sameen Rana, owner of Lahore Qalandars, expressed his excitement: “We are thrilled to participate in the Global Super League. It presents a fantastic platform for our young PDP talent to compete against some of the world’s best cricket teams.”

The GSL is expected to draw a global audience, with fans eagerly awaiting the high-stakes matches featuring their favorite teams and players.
