Lanka T10 Super League Announces Six Teams for Inaugural 2024 Edition, Player Draft on November 10

The Lanka T10 Super League has unveiled six franchise teams set to compete in the debut season of Sri Lanka’s newest T10 cricket league. This exciting addition to Sri Lanka’s cricketing calendar will feature the Colombo Strikers, Galle Marvels, Jaffna Titans, Kandy Bolts, Hambantota Bangla Tigers, and Negombo Braves, each representing the distinct character and cricketing heritage of its respective city.

The Player Draft for the inaugural season will take place on 10 November 2024 in Colombo, where franchises will build their squads with a mix of local and international players. The tournament will run from 12 to 22 December, promising 10 days of high-intensity cricket at the forefront of the shortest format.

The chosen team names celebrate Sri Lanka’s cricketing heritage while fostering local pride and community identity, encouraging fans to rally behind their hometown squads.
