Lights, camera and let the PSL begin

PSL

It was that very Moment at 8 o clock PST when Sean Pal made the men from Caribbean dance to “Give it upto me”. The PSL has kicked of with the most ravishing opening ceremony and 3 exciting games of Cricket on two days. All 5 teams have played by on and the cricket can sit back and make conclusions of which player to add in the PSL fantasy league team.

It all started with that over from Anwar Ali which had set the tone of the tournament till now. That Historic moment when cricket returned to Pakistan against Zimbabwe last year it was Anwar Ali with the first ball upfront and here against, at this very historic moment of Pakistan Super League he lead the way. The over set the tone and by the end of the second day it was decided that the tournament will not be anything like the IPL and BBL where there will be no safe score rather even a score under 150 would be a match winning total. The was going to be a tournament where bowlers will win you games.

Another lesson learnt on the first day was the attack of Luke Wright. Wright made everything go right and took the likes of Irfan and Badree to the cleaners.

The feature of the tournament would be that it calls for exciting cricket where you’ll have to work you way around like Tammim Iqbal did and get underway. There is a dire need to stay at the crease in case of you wanting go get big runs.

The spinners will get under your skin however patience is the way to proceed. Like Babar, Nawaz, Shakib and Saeed showed what might happen during the course of the tournament as the things proceed. The excitement will increase and the crowd Will definitely build it.

The beauty of the tournament right now is the inter city battle we see on the social media with all the friendly banter going on. This is where gel together and cricket acts as a source of joy for the common man of Pakistan.
The team who fueled well will definitely make the difference in the end as we saw Lahore Qalandars dropping Shakib early on and later on getting hit around the park by him. He literally threw kitchen sink at everything and fearlessly took the bowlers apart.

The tournament has already seen an hattrick from the comeback kid Mohammad Amir and there’s much more to come for Pakistan cricket. Whereas the biggest disappointment was the point when Gayle misqued one of the 4th ball of the innings against Shoaib Malik and had to depart early.

The tournament has started in the most exciting manner and it’s building up quite well. Let’s see how the teams make inroads and what really is the game changer at the end of the day for the Pakistan Super League.
