A palpable buzz is brewing in the TV, Film, Music and Fashion industries as the Lux Style Awards 2015, the most influential awards show in Pakistan is set to take place at the end of September 2015 in Karachi.
One power couple who may be most excited about the LSAs is pop star Farhan Saeed and TV and Film actress Urwa Hocane who have each been nominated for LSAs in their respective fields.
Urwa is nominated in the Best Film Actress category for her impressionable and dramatic role in’Na Maloom Afraad’ while Farhan is nominated in the Viewer’s Choice category for Song of the Year andBest Music Video for the mesmerizing hit song “Roiyaan” which also won Song of the Year at the recent HUM TV Awards. Urwa will be competing against Saleha Aref for ‘Dukhtar’ and Samiya Mumtaz also for ‘Dukhtar’. Hollywod may have its Brangelina and Bollywood its Saifeena but Urhan just might dazzle us with a double victory at the LSA audience.
