The TV host and Anchor Madiha Abid Ali who is known for highlighting the various notable issue of the city Lahore through her show Top Story took her viewers to a trip to Hospital Surveillance Cell in Lahore during the interview of Dr. Yasmin Rashid. The cell is a project of the Punjab government to monitor public health facilities of the city, it started in the previous government’s tenure.
While talking to MediaSpring Pk Madiha said,
“We visited Hospitals Surveillance Cell along with Health Minister Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid. It is quite Impressive to see how 40 hospitals are monitored here at this cell round the clock with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the hospitals. The report is submitted to Dr. Yasmin Rashid on a daily basis.”
The hospital surveillance cell brigs in Mechanism of direct supervision of the hospitals under primary and secondary health care department which is unique in nature and have complete ownership from the minister and secretary health.
The cell is playing a vital role to ensure the quality health services to the people who visit these hospitals.
