After producing “Sibbi Song” the most successful song for Patari with 3.4 Million views on Youtube , SomeWhatSuper are back with a bang in collaboration with a brand new Artist “Ahmed Murtaza” the master of flow raps in English, Punjabi and Urdu , the song “MAHI” in Punjabi is the first from the Debut Album which is sure to make waves in the Pakistan music scene.
The song talks about disastrous ends to otherwise seemingly unbreakable relationships, the inspiration of the song comes partially from the personal life of the artist and completely from the realities of heartbreak and fighting through it while conquering ones fears, insecurities and breaking through ones comfort zones.
The initial demo of the song was contemplated by the talented part time DJ and Full-time Med student Abdul Moiz Parvez known in the music scene as “Block-2” hailing from Houston, USA and then written on by Ahmed Murtaza and finally SomeWhatSuper worked there magic to make it into the final product we are releasing today.
The Artist hopes to change the image of Rap and Hip Hop in Pakistan and sway away from the perception of Rap being an underground version of the art of music with mature lyrics, seasoned flow and compelling points of views rather than talking about money, cars, guns and women.
“What I have to offer to the music industry of Pakistan is original content amazing music with collaborations with artists from every possible genre imaginable, I hope to give words that will give meaning to the emotions that musicians want to present through their music” says Ahmed Murtaza about his plans for the future with his music.
