Main Agar Chup Hoon – Last Episode Review

The last episode of this iconic and memorable drama produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, was more powerful than can be put into words. Not only did this drama showcase misconceptions and unfairness in relationships, but it also gave a very meaningful message to its viewers. It is not necessary to take revenge on those that have wronged you. Evil people will always meet a dreadful end, and God has ensured that.

The episode started off with the police investigating what had really caused Sehrish’s disappearance. When it is evident and sure to Ahad and Emaan that Sehrish has in fact eloped after stealing Emaan’s jewellery, they let the entire family know. The whole family, in finding out, find solace in the fact that she is probably safe where ever she is, but do not recall her in kind words. All except Emaan, who can’t help but fall victim to her intuition, is constantly under a sad cloud, wondering if her sister is actually alright or if something terrible has happened to her. On the other hand, there is a certain element of excitement about Atif and Shifa’s wedding. The drama then goes forward and focuses on what really happened to Sehrish. As she is eloping, she realises that she cannot do much unless she sells the jewellery she has stolen, so she goes to a jeweller and tries to sell the jewellery but to no avail. After spending the night on a bench, when she wakes up in the morning, some goons kidnap her. She is tied up to a chair in the middle of nowhere, in pain, and she prays to God to save her from the disgrace that has been bestowed upon her. She eventually loses her breath and passes away, and the goons leave her lying there and run off out of fright of being caught. On her funeral, it is obvious that the ones present are at war with themselves in terms of their response to her death. Fast forward to a year, Emaan and Ahad are blessed with a baby boy and are more happier than ever.

The end of the drama is indeed a happy one, but also has a very vital lesson attached to it. You can not do injustice, and expect happiness and good luck in return. Sehrish’s horrific death is testament to the fact that the ones that hold the evil intentions of ruining someone’s peace, can never truly end up with peace themselves.

The producers of this drama, Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, as well as the writers Erum Wasi and Saima Wasi, along with the director, Ali Akbar, are all sure to receive many applause for this commendable drama that has given its viewers goosebumps and the urge to come back for more, with each passing episode.
