Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga and all-rounder from South African Albie Morkel have become the latest additions to the player roster of HBL Pakistan Super League 2017.
Malinga, who captained Sri Lanka to the 2014 ICC World T20 trophy, known for his famous “Malinga the Slinger” has picked up 299 wickets in 221 T20 matches.
South African all-rounder Albie Morkel has impressive T20 record – he has 3,767 runs and 230 wickets in 287 matches.
The player retention is currently open during which franchises have the option of retaining up to 16 players from their existing squads. During this phase, teams can also renegotiate with existing players. The player transfer window is concurrently open with teams having the option of using their draft pick order or existing squads to trade.
