One of the finest news anchors and TV presenters, Maria Memon who hosts Sawal Yeh Hai, current affairs show, on ARY News these days has been associated with the media industry for more than ten years. And we have seen Maria growing from a junior reporter to an established TV presenter of a flagship show.
Maria has also been very active on digital media with a presence on social media, contributing to web articles and content curation for Youtube. Recently Maria added one more feather to her hat when she launched her web show, Maria Memon Podcast.
Taking on her Instagram to make the announcement, the anchor said: “We all seek original and authentic connections. Let’s listen and learn, and connect over Maria Memon’s Podcast.”
Talking about the idea and the concept behind the web show, TV host turned podcast host said:
“The idea of ‘Maria Memon’s podcast’ has stemmed from the niggling feeling of not finding the time for engaging in meaningful conversations about the topics that I am passionate about and the discourse that cannot find time on tv because of overwhelming current affairs. Yet these conversations are timely, essential, and much needed to enrich our personal and social lives.”
So Far Maria has released two episodes of the podcast.
Talking about the episodes and upcoming content Maria said:
“Initially I have shot a series of six videos encompassing the topics that are both significant and crucial, and featuring some of the most fascinating people I have come across.”

Maria Memon is part of the media industry since 2008, she started her career as a field reporter for Geo English. She has been part of top news channels such as Geo, Bol and ARY News. In her 11 years long career she hosted various TV shows and transmissions. ‘Geo Pakistan’, ‘Mere Mutabiq’ on Geo, and ‘News@3’ & ‘Sawal Yeh Hai’ are some names to her credit.
In 2013, Maria Memon also released her documentary film, “Muslims in America” for Geo News. In 2015, Maria Memon joined ARY News.
Maria Memon is a Software Engineer by education and has also been CNN Fellow Journalist in the year 2011. In 2019, Maria Memon also started producing content for YouTube with her husband.
