Mawra Hocane, who became an instant sensation in India when Bollywood film star Ranbir Kapoor sent her a video message via Instagram, is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao’s film titled ‘Sanam Teri Kasam.’
22 years old actress from Pakistan, Mawra Hocane is casted opposite actor from south India Harshvardhan Rane in the movie. The cast and the crew was in Cape Town last week for the shooting of the movie.

While it is quite unclear whether ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ is a remake of the 1982 hit starring Kamal Haasan and Reena Roy. When Vinay Sapru was contacted by Indian media to get updates about the status of the film and shooting, the director of the film said:
“It’s going fine. But everything is in a state of flux. It’s too early to talk about Sanam Teri Kasam.”

Mawra, who is hugely popular in Pakistan, recently found herself in the midst of an unwanted controversy when her tweets about the ban on Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Phantom’ in Pakistan pushed the senior film-star of Pakistani cinema, Shaan. She, issued an open letter to explain her decision, which harvested lot of applause for her.
