Mehr Sher set to join Columbia Journalism School class of 2022

Broadcast journalist, TV presenter, anchor, and filmmaker Mehr Sher is one of the very few bright new names who joined the Pakistan media industry in the 2010s. Mehr has made a name for herself through her selective but quality work and projects. Recently upon her return from the US trip, the TV anchor announced that she has been accepted for the master’s programme at the prestigious Columbia University.

She took on her Instagram to share the news, she wrote:

“It’s been a tumultuous, testing time to say the least. And it’s been like that for everybody especially during a global pandemic where many of our lives have unraveled on personal, professional, financial and so many other levels. Many painfully lost their loved ones to the pandemic and those who didn’t experienced other wounding personal losses. I hope we all heal from whatever we are overcoming and find the silver lining. Here’s to finding opportunity in adversity. May we all look towards the future with optimism. CSJ #Classof2022 here I come💙”
