Renowned news anchor Mehreen Iftikhar has left ARY News to join 24 News, a part of City News Network. This move marks her return to the network, where she previously worked with UK44 and Rohi TV.
“I’m thrilled to be back in Lahore and joining 24 News,” Mehreen Iftikhar said. “I’m looking forward to this new chapter in my career and being part of a team that shares my passion for news storytelling.”

With a Master’s degree in English linguistics, Mehreen began her career in journalism in 2016. In her previous stint at City News Network, she worked with various channels, including UK44 and Rohi TV.
In 2018, Mehreen joined Aftab Iqbal’s Aap News, where she was part of the launching team of the channel. She then moved to Karachi and became a news anchor at ARY News in April 2019.
After over five years at ARY News, Mehreen has returned to Lahore and joined 24 News, bringing a fresh face to the national channel.
