Mentors Confirm Player Support Personnel: Each Side to Have Eight-Member Coaching Staff

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that each of the five teams participating in the Champions One-Day Cup will be supported by a robust eight-member coaching and support staff, handpicked by the team mentors.

Each team’s coaching panel includes a head coach, batting coach, fielding coach, fast bowling and spin bowling coaches, along with experts in strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, and analytics. This comprehensive support is designed to maximize player performance and help develop upcoming talent.

Below are the details of the player support personnel for each team:

  • Dolphins: Sarfaraz Ahmed (mentor), Iqbal Imam (head coach), Abdul Saad (fielding coach), Mohammad Masroor (batting coach), Sajid Shah (fast bowling coach), Tahir Mahmood (spin bowling coach), and others.
  • Lions: Waqar Younis (mentor), Abdur Rehman (head coach), Abdul Majeed (fielding coach), Riffatullah Mohmand (batting coach), Aizaz Cheema (fast bowling coach), Saeed Anwar Jnr (spin bowling coach), and others.
