After registering a strong comeback to TV screen with TV hosting and modeling, Fatima Sohail has successfully ticked the box of acting on TV too. Fatima has made her TV acting debut with ARY Digital’s hit drama serial Mera Dil, Mera Dushman. Fatima is playing the role of Rabia.
While speaking to MediaSpringPK about her drama serial, Fatima shared that she was excited to face the camera as an actor and revealed who helped her the most on the sets:
“I was excited not nervous, I always had a keen interest in acting that is why I knew that I can do it. Also I was not facing camera for the first time either that is why I was very confident from the very first day. On the sets Gul Apa and our director Osama Raza used to motivate me a lot. Also Anam Tanveer has helped me a lot during the shoot of the play.”
Mera Dil, Mera Dushman is co-produced by Humayun Saeed and Samina Humayun Saeed under their banners Six Sigma Plus and Next Level Entertainment.
While talking about her character Rabia, Fatima says that viewers should expect a twist in coming episodes. She said:
“For now we are keeping the character ‘Rabia’ bit confusing one, you will find out what she is up to in coming episodes.”
Mera Dil, Mera Dushman also has Alizeh Shah, Noaman Sami, Yasir Nawaz and Anam Tanveer in pivot roles.
Fatima is working on another drama serial these days that will air soon on ARY Digital. “I am doing more TV drama projects these days one of those is in the final phase and viewers will see that too on ARY Digital very soon. I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying this acting experience.”
Fatima Sohail studied Business Administration Services from Delaware, USA and started her media career with Mazaaq Raat on Dunya News in 2013. In 2015 she joined Neo TV where she was not only part of the pioneer team of the channel but also she was the face of Neo TV Network’s newscast team.
