The TV comeback of Humayun Saeed, Mere Paas Tum Ho, a Nadeem Baig directorial penned by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar went on air on Saturday. The play stars Ayeza Khan, Humayun Saeed, and Adnan Siddiqui in the lead roles.
Danish (Humayun Saeed) is a government servent, spending his life on his humble income but he’s content because he has his wife Mehwish (Ayeza Khan). Danish seems to be a good carying husband who tries to keep his family happy with limited income. On the contrary Mehwish seems to be a materialistic one. She is beautiful and she knows it – this factor might bring up a plot twist in coming episodes.
In the opening episode, we see Mehwish’s greed for more. She knows her husband has a limited income but yet she wants an expensive jewellery set. She shows off the necklace to Danish, who promises that he will it for her.
Danish is always up to do anything that he can to please his wife, he even goes on to take a loan to please his wife.
for the first episode, acting powerhouses, Ayeza Khan and Humayun Saeed look great together, it can be seen that effortlessly both Ayeza and Humayun are pulling off their characters.
Nadeem Baig’s direction clearly features attention to detail that is adding more depth to the story on screen.
