Misbah-ul-Haq becomes head coach of Muzaffarabad Tigers

Former Test cricketer and head coach of the Pakistan team, Misbah-ul-Haq will lead the coaching set-up of Muzaffarabad Tigers in Kashmir Premier League (KPL) season 2.

As announced by the franchise, Misbah will be the new head coach of the Tigers who were runners-up in the previous edition.

“The real tiger joins us as our Head Coach. We welcome Pakistan’s most successful test captain and former head coach Misbah-ul-Haq. All the best King,” the franchise announced on Twitter.

 

Misbah is the most successful Test captain for Pakistan, having won the only Test mace for the country. He played 75 Tests, 162 ODIs and 39 T20Is for Pakistan.

Later on, after retirement, Misbah was appointed as the head coach of the Pakistan men’s team.
