Muqaddar Episode 11: Raima Struggles to Accept her New Life

Muqaddar, a production of 7th Sky Entertainment, is one of those dramas that successfully captured the viewers’ attention since its beginning. With Madiha Imam, Ali Ansari, and Faisal Qureshi in the lead role, the drama serial is an exciting watch, mainly because its overall execution is brilliantly done, and the lead actors have performed really well. So far, a lot has happened in the story, and last night’s episode set the stage for further developments in the story.

Last night’s episode of Muqaddar was a little on the slower side, and nothing new happened in Raima and Saif ur Rehman’s part of the story. However, that slowing down was also necessary to give us insights into the feelings of Raima and make us feel for her. Saif ur Rehman considers Raima as a prized possession and wants her to do as he directs—a fact that was established further when he asks her to have food with him, and she refuses, but he still takes her along with him. Although Raima has changed a lot when it comes to speaking out for her rights, now and then she still tries to speak up and send her point across to Saif ur Rehman. That scene was also meaningful as the flashbacks showed how much Raima cherished that beautiful time she spent with Haris and why she was finding it difficult to move on with Saif ur Rehman.

While Raima and Saif ur Rehman got a couple of scenes, the focus in yesterday’s episode was mainly on Abeera and Hasan’s relationship, and Saad and Abeera’s mother finding out about it. Saad sees the two in a restaurant together and tells her aunt about it, who confronts her daughter and grounds her to go out. It seems that the track is going to progress further in the coming episode.

On the other hand, Maham is after Haris, and she constantly tries to coax her love and affection onto him in his episode, too, while Haris’s attitude is no different. He continues to reject her and gets irritated every time she sees her around.

Overall, it was a decent episode with some excellent performances. Madiha Imam, Ali Ansari, and Faisal Qureshi are making this drama worth tuning to with their phenomenal performances, while the supporting characters are also justifying their roles. The preview of the next episode suggests some important developments in the story, and we are excitedly looking forward to it.
