7th Sky Entertainment’s drama serial Muqaddar has been offering something interesting every week, and this week was no different. Last night’s episode had some brilliant performances to its credit, particularly of Madiha Imam and Ali Ansari. Both of them portrayed the heartbreak of their characters perfectly on screen and made us relate to the emotional turmoil Raima and Haris were going through.
After Haris broke the news of Saif ur Rehman’s marriage to Farkhanda and after she put a brave face in front of him, she went down into thinking about what had happened. Till now, she believed that she was the only wife of Saif ur Rehman, but with Raima in the picture now, she was rattled, but she decided to contain herself and wait for the right moment. She did not confront Saif ur Rehman neither did she confide in anyone about it. Even though Saad sensed that something was wrong with her and she also hinted to Abeera that his father was not what he seemed to be, but she decided to stay silent about this matter for now. It will be interesting to find out what her next move will be in this regard.
Saad and Abeera’s relationship continues to be the same way, with Abeera not showing any interest in him and Saad trying to live up to his commitment to Abeera for the sake of family honor. Abeera and Hassan’s relationship also did not progress in this episode but for the first time, Hassan promised that he will send his mother to her place to ask for her hand in marriage.
The most interesting and emotional scene of the entire episode, however, was Raima’s phone call to Haris. Raima once again reminded Haris that she married Saif ur Rehman for all the money he had and that the place she was living in was like heaven on earth for her. Raima has decided to put a closure to this relationship and feelings they had for each other, and this served as the final nail in the coffin. The way the two cried after the call was heartbreaking to watch, and both of them did complete justice in expressing the feelings of Haris and Raima. As expected, Haris’s parents are now thinking of getting him married as soon as possible, and Maha is the first person to come to their mind.
Now that Farkhanda knows about the marriage of Saif ur Rehman, and Haris has been convinced that Raima betrayed him, it will be interesting to watch how the story will progress. We are looking forward to what Muqaddar has in store for us.
