Muqaddar in Review: Raima portrays the woman always sacrificing it all

Produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, Muqaddar is one of the most popular dramas on air these days. 7th Sky Entertainment, led by the remarkable duo of ace producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, has given us many hit serials that have garnered appreciation from all corners. Revolving around various themes and diverse topics, 7th Sky Entertainment has a proven track of providing quality entertainment and engaging stories with a stamp of perfection. Muqaddar is another one of their captivating serials in which they portray a strong woman, Raima, who is always seen sacrificing it all for her loved ones.

Raima, played by Madiha Imam, is the victim of a feudal lord Sardar Saif ur Rehman, who gets married to her forcefully after abducting her. Raima was madly in love with her cousin Haris and was an independent and ambitious RJ. However, Saif ur Rehman ruined everything for her and left her with no choice but to sacrifice her love and happiness for her loved ones’ life and joy. Saif ur Rehman threatened her to kill Haris if she did not get married to her, and for the sake of Haris’s life, she had to agree.

Raima was an orphan who was brought up by her uncle and aunt (Haris’s parents), and she also did not want them to suffer because of her. Furthermore, she also made sure that Haris moves on his life by convincing him that she wanted luxuries and wealth for which she got married to Saif ur Rehman. Haris believes what she tells him and starts hating her and also does not allow his parents to meet and talk to her. As a result, Raima loses not just Haris and his love but also the people she loved. She is left with no one to look up to for solace and support.

Raima’s sorrow and heartache has made us cry along with her and also reminded us of this cruel reality that somehow women are always the ones making sacrifices. We are waiting to see what happens next in Muqaddar and wish that Raima gets some happiness in her life.
