A masterpiece of 7th Sky Entertainment by eminent producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, Deewangi has kept the audience hooked throughout its run. Like any other 7th Entertainment production, Deewangi too has all the signature elements – a gripping storyline, superb direction, star-studded cast, an unconventional headstrong female lead, beautiful locations, and cinematography.
The latest episode reveals how Sultan is manipulating things for Haroon through Ramsha in order to get Nageen back in his life. Though Haroon has all the trust in Nageen after listening about Nageen’s confession about her past to her sister, he got suspicious of Nageen. He went to Hyderabad with Ramsha to verify things. To Nageen’s dismay, Haroon became all distrustful towards her and spent the night at Ramsha’s place. Sultan, on the other hand, tries to misguide Nageen about Haroon and Ramsha’s relationship. As soon as Haroon comes back home, he decided to throw Nageen out of his home and life, and with all her fears in her heart, Nageen’s past stands right in front of her.
Deewangi is a story that story revolves around the lead couple and sketches the difference between elite and middle class wonderfully well. Where Sultan is a rich spoilt and soon-to-be politician guy, and Nageen is a headstrong, ambitious girl. Rich guy Sultan falls in love with a poor girl Nageen. While Danish wants to get her into his life at any cost, Nageen’s life is a roller coaster of constant struggle and sacrifices. While the two come close and part from each other with lots of twists and turns during episodes, Sultan still has feelings for Nageen; however, Nageen has moved on with her husband Haroon and does not want to recall her past.
Deewangi does not revolve around a woman’s miseries but shows the story of a woman and how she breaks through. It revolves around tough decisions in a harsh world, as Nageen struggles to survive.
Will Nageen be able to cope up in this situation? Will Sultan win her over again? Will Ramsha succeed in taking Haroon away from Nageen? We will have to wait and see.
