NCA To Hold Specialized Men’s Cricket Camps to Develop Core Strength for Pakistan National Team

The National Cricket Academy in Lahore will host specialized camps for spinners and fast bowlers, along with a separate camp for batters, as Pakistan gears up for an exciting and challenging cricket season. Thirteen spinners, 11 fast bowlers, and 14 batters from the Pakistan men’s, Shaheens, and U19 sides have been invited to train under the guidance of national team coaches.

The camps aim to enhance the players’ skills, fitness, and endurance, allowing them to bowl longer spells and bat for extended periods. With the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka in July, these camps will assist the national selection committee in forming the best squad for the World Test Championship.

Bringing players from different levels together will help instill “The Pakistan Way” and provide young players with the opportunity to learn from the experiences of senior players. Notably, some players have been exempted from the camp due to rehabilitation, personal commitments, or other engagements.

The camps will play a crucial role in preparing the players for international competition while also fostering a strong team culture and understanding of national expectations. The participation of these talented cricketers will contribute to the continued growth and success of Pakistan cricket.
