Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Nida Dar has expressed pride in her team’s performance despite falling short in the semi-final. “Obviously, it’s disappointing to lose, but we played good cricket and took the match to the last ball,” Dar said.

Dar highlighted the positives, noting that young players took responsibility and performed well. “Gul Feroza and Muneeba Ali’s innings were notable, while young bowlers like Aroob and Tooba bowled exceptionally well,” she said.
Dar also praised the experienced players, saying, “We have top-class bowlers like Saadia and Nashra, and we showed our full potential.”
While acknowledging areas for improvement, such as fitness, batting, and fielding, Dar emphasized that the team followed the plans given to them and showed fighting spirit in the semi-final.
Dar concluded that the tournament provided valuable preparation for the World Cup, saying, “We got good practice for the World Cup, and we’ll work on our weaknesses to improve further.”
