Opting to bat first, Peshawar struggled to find their footing against a disciplined Multan bowling attack. Aleena Shah’s valiant effort, scoring 50 runs off 86 balls, provided some resistance, but it wasn’t enough to steer her team to a competitive total. Noor-ul Iman wreaked havoc with the ball, claiming an impressive five-wicket haul, conceding just 25 runs in her spell of 9.2 overs.
In response, Multan chased down the target with ease, reaching 104 for six in 34.4 overs. Tasmia Rubab played a crucial unbeaten knock of 26 runs off a run-a-ball, guiding her team to victory. Despite Momina Riasat’s three-wicket haul for Peshawar, Multan secured the win comfortably with more than 15 overs to spare.

Lahore Dominates Quetta with All-Round Display
At the Jawad Sports Complex Ground, Lahore showcased their dominance with an emphatic 88-run win over Quetta in another riveting encounter of the tournament’s fourth round.
Opting to bat first, Lahore posted a competitive total of 199 for nine in their allotted 50 overs, anchored by Kaynat Hafeez’s half-century and valuable contributions from Noreen Yaqoob and others. Quetta’s Ayesha Amjad emerged as the pick of the bowlers, claiming four wickets for 44 runs.
In reply, Quetta faltered in their chase, managing only 111 runs before being bowled out in 46 overs. Lahore’s Noreen Yaqoob starred with the ball, picking up three crucial wickets for just 22 runs, while Quratulain supported her with two wickets.
Noreen Yaqoob’s impactful all-round performance earned her the Player of the Match accolade, sealing Lahore’s comprehensive victory.
Karachi Overcomes Rawalpindi in Hard-Fought Battle
Meanwhile, at the Iqbal Stadium, Karachi secured a hard-fought 36-run win over Rawalpindi in an enthralling contest.
Batting first, Karachi posted a competitive total of 190 all out, anchored by a stellar 76-run knock from Huraina Sajjad and a vital contribution from Syeda Aroob Shah. Rawalpindi’s Humna Bilal shone with the ball, claiming four wickets for 25 runs.
In response, Rawalpindi fell short in their chase, managing only 154 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their stipulated 50 overs. Karachi’s Anosha Nasir impressed with the ball, securing two crucial wickets for 26 runs.
Huraina Sajjad’s brilliant performance earned her the Player of the Match award, propelling Karachi to a well-deserved victory.
