Story of a possessive mother who becomes antagonist in the love story of her own daughter. After Zehra’s (Farah Shah) separation from Ashfaq(Waqas Majeed Khan),she thinks that the men are not to be trusted and for the same reason she overly protects her only daughter Rubab (Hira Mani).
Ashfaq is now married with Shaista(Nadia Hussain), who does not want Ashfaq to meet her daughter as she thinks he will get close with Zehra too as she knows that Ahsfaq still regrets his decision of marring her. Whereas Zehra also doesn’t want Rubab to get close with her father as she fears that her daughter will leave her and she will be left with nothing in her life.
Rubab loves her mother and always obeys her. Since her childhood she dearly loves her cousin Asher (Junaid Khan) Ashfaq’s Nephew who lives in the lower portion of the house. Asher has so much resemblance with Ashfaq that somehow Zehra gets irritated by his presence.
When Zehra comes to know about Rubab’s affection for Asher; she plans out a negative plot so Rubab believes that man are not to be trusted so in order to safe Rubab from doing the same mistake that she did year back by marrying the man of her choice .
Rubab’s life get shattered after knowing that Asher loves someone else.
Zehra had no idea that her pure intentions to protect her daughter will make Rubab end up at hospital.
Will Asher ever realize Rubab’s unconditional love for him? Would Zehra ever tell the truth to Rubab that how she inducted the venom of mistrust in her own daughter innocent mind?
