Renowned TV presenter, model, and news anchor Pakeeza Zahid has joined Geo News in Karachi as a news anchor, marking the end of her association with Dunya News, where she had been working since December 2002.
In an exclusive conversation with MediaSpringPK, Pakeeza expressed her excitement about this new chapter in her career, saying: “I’m thrilled to join Geo News and look forward to being a part of a dynamic team. This opportunity brings new challenges and I’m eager to grow as a professional.”
Hailing from Sialkot, Pakeeza holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the University of Management and Technology (UMT). She began her career in 2018 as a news anchor for Star Asia TV and later joined 92 News HD in August 2019. Her stint at Hum News in April 2020 brought her widespread recognition. After a brief period at Public News, Pakeeza took a break from news media to focus on her modeling career. She returned to news anchoring with Dunya News after a hiatus of over a year.
Pakeeza’s addition to the Geo News team is expected to bring fresh energy and perspectives to the channel’s news bulletins. Fans and viewers can look forward to seeing her back on screen, delivering news with her signature style and charisma.
