TV presenter, model, and news anchor, Pakeeza Zahid has returned to a news channel after a break from news anchoring. Pakeeza ended her more than a year long break after joining Dunya News as a news anchor.
Pakeeza announced this news on her social media after going on air with her new TV channel.
While talking to MediaSpringPK, Pakeeza said:
“There is only one constant in life and that is change. when I took a break from news anchoring I did not plan a comeback as I was quite keen on my modeling assignments and they kept me busy. But in all that time I missed the screen and the adrenaline effect that news anchoring gave me. I am back as a news anchor and I can safely say that this is where I belong. However, I shall take time out whenever there is a good modeling assignment.”
Pakeeza holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the University of Management and Technology (UMT) and started her career in 2018 as a news anchor for Star Asia TV. She joined 92 News HD in August 2019. She shot to fame once she joined Hum News in April 2020. She remained with the channel for more than a year, returned to Lahore, and joined Public News for a brief stint.
After leaving 92 News, Pakeeza took a break from news media and actively pursued her modeling career.
Now after a haitus of more than a year, Pakeeza is back on news anchors seat as the new face of recently turned HD, Dunya News.
