In a significant move aimed at enhancing the global reach of Pakistani cricket, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has awarded the international media rights for the upcoming Pakistan versus New Zealand men’s and Pakistan versus West Indies women’s series to a consortium comprising ARY Digital and TransGroup International.
The decision follows a transparent tender process that saw participation from two international networks, ultimately culminating in the selection of ARY Digital and TransGroup International to broadcast the highly anticipated cricketing action.
The five-match T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand is scheduled to take place from April 18 to April 27, with matches set to be held in Rawalpindi and Lahore. Meanwhile, the women’s series featuring three ODIs and five T20Is between Pakistan and the West Indies will commence from April 18 and conclude on May 3, with all matches set to be held in Karachi.
Salman Iqbal, Founder and CEO of ARY Digital, expressed his pleasure at collaborating with TransGroup International, stating, “ARY is pleased to collaborate with TransGroup International to secure the international media rights partnership with the Pakistan Cricket Board. With the allocation of these global rights, the Pakistani diaspora and fans worldwide will enjoy the broadcasts of the New Zealand men’s and West Indies women’s fixtures. The PCB is set to release a comprehensive list of global broadcasters in due course, ensuring that cricket fans across the globe have access to the thrilling encounters between Pakistan, New Zealand, and the West Indies.
