Pakistan include Mohammad Haris in ODI Squad for New Zealand Series

On 24th April 2023, Pakistan Cricket Board announced that Mohammad Haris, a talented wicketkeeper-batsman, has been included in Pakistan’s One-Day International squad for the upcoming five-match series against New Zealand. With Haris’ inclusion, the Pakistani squad now consists of 17 players.

Before his selection in the ODI squad, Haris had played four ODIs and eight T20 Internationals. He was expected to play in the fifth and final T20I match between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.

The ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will begin in Rawalpindi, with the Pindi Cricket Stadium hosting the first two matches on 27th and 29th April. The remaining three matches will be played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

The Pakistan squad for the ODI series includes Babar Azam as the captain, with Shadab Khan as the vice-captain. Other players in the squad are Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Haris Sohail, Ihsanullah, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Naseem Shah, Salman Ali Agha, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, and Usama Mir.
