The fast-paced Hong Kong Cricket Sixes tournament returns to captivate audiences from November 1-3 at the Ten Kwong Road Cricket Ground. Featuring 12 teams divided into four groups, this exciting event promises high-energy performances, a festive atmosphere with music, and food stalls for a unique cricket carnival experience.
Pakistan is placed in Group C alongside India and the UAE, setting up an eagerly awaited showdown with arch-rivals India on the opening day. Host team Hong Kong will face South Africa and New Zealand in Group A, while Group B features Australia, England, and Nepal. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Oman make up Group D.
The tournament will kick off with a match between South Africa and Hong Kong, followed by the electrifying Pakistan-India contest. All teams will play in a round-robin format within their groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the quarterfinals. Quarterfinal winners will progress to the semifinals, while losing teams will compete in the Plate semifinals. Teams finishing at the bottom of each group will enter the Bowl competition. Over three days, a total of 29 matches will be played, with the tournament concluding on November 3.
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, a women’s exhibition match will also be held on the final day of the tournament.
