Pakistan reached to 8th position in ODI rankings

Pakistan has reached to the eighth position in the ICC ODI Team Rankings after winning series against Sri Lanka by 3-2 in the five-match series which concluded in Hambantota on Sunday. Pakistan team have progressed to 90 points.

Mohammad Hafeez was the highest run maker in the series with total of 273 runs in five games this has put him to 29^th spot in the ICC Player Rankings for ODI Batsmen. Ahmed Shehzad gained 30^th spot and skipper Azhar Ali is now on his career highest 42^nd position.

In the ICC Players Rankings for ODI Bowlers, Pakistan’s Mohammad Irfan has improved his ranking by a place and is now level with Mohammad Hafeez in 16th place. Yasir Shah who has jumped 44 places to a career high 97th.
