The Pakistan Cricket Board’s women’s national selection committee has announced a Skills and Fitness camp for 25 women cricketers at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. The camp, running from 8 to 24 August, is designed to prepare the players for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, scheduled from 3 to 20 October.
The selected players, comprising nine batters, eight bowlers, six all-rounders, and two wicket-keepers, will arrive in Lahore on 7 August. The camp will feature a series of fitness sessions from 8 to 18 August, including medical screenings, fitness drills, and fielding exercises. From 19 August until the camp’s conclusion, the players will participate in skills sessions, which include net practices under the supervision of the national coaching staff.
