The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced 12-month central contracts for 25 men’s cricketers for the 2024-25 international season, starting from 1 July 2024. This marks the second year of a structured agreement between players and the PCB, set to continue over a three-year period.
In alignment with PCB’s commitment to recognize and support emerging talent, central contracts have been awarded to five players for the first time: Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Ali, Muhammad Irfan Khan, and Usman Khan. Their inclusion reflects PCB’s focus on strengthening the talent pool and encouraging high-performing domestic players.
