The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the consortium of TransGroup and ARY has been awarded the international broadcast rights for the upcoming three-match Test series between England and Pakistan. The series, set to commence on 7 October, will take place at Multan and Rawalpindi.
The broadcast rights were granted following a transparent tender process, ensuring that cricket fans around the world can enjoy the highly anticipated series.
In addition to this announcement, the PCB also revealed a star-studded commentary panel for the series. Former England Test captains David Gower, Michael Atherton, and Nasser Hussain will once again join the commentary team, having previously covered the Pakistan-England Test series in December 2022. England Test cricketer Ian Ward will also provide insights from the commentary box.
The commentary panel from Pakistan includes former Test captains Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja, Test cricketer Bazid Khan, and former Pakistan women’s team captain Urooj Mumtaz. The series will be hosted by renowned presenter Zainab Abbas.
The series will be broadcast globally through 28 full HD cameras, featuring advanced technology such as the buggy cam, drone cam, and the Hawk-Eye review system. Additionally, PCB’s PitchSide Studio, hosted by Zainab Abbas, will return to deliver in-depth analysis and insights during pre- and post-match shows.
In Pakistan, the series will be aired live on A-Sports, Ten Sports, and PTV Sports, while the live stream will be available on Tamasha. In the UK, Sky Sports will be the broadcast partner, and BBC Sport will provide radio coverage. Broadcast details for other regions will be announced soon.
