Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met with Cricket Ireland Chairman Brian Mac Neice in Dublin, Ireland, on [date]. The meeting was a significant step forward in strengthening the relationship between the two cricket boards.
Chairman Mac Neice warmly welcomed Chairman Naqvi and thanked him for visiting Ireland. He also presented Chairman Naqvi with a souvenir Ireland team shirt and cap. The two chairmen discussed the upcoming women’s cricket series between the two countries and agreed to schedule a series between the women’s teams as well.
Cricket Ireland will tour Pakistan next August-September, and Chairman Mac Neice expressed his gratitude for the excellent arrangements made by the PCB for the tour. Chairman Naqvi reciprocated by thanking Cricket Ireland for their hospitality during the Pakistan team’s current tour of Ireland.
The two chairmen also discussed the 2025 Champions Trophy, which will be hosted by Pakistan. Chairman Mac Neice expressed his satisfaction with the security arrangements made by the PCB for international tournaments.
Other officials present at the meeting included Cricket Ireland CEO Warren Deutrom and other high-ranking officials. The meeting was seen as a positive step towards strengthening the relationship between the two cricket boards and promoting cricket in both countries.
