In a move focused on optimizing player workload and aligning with the national team’s forthcoming schedule, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted no-objection certificates (NOCs) to three talented cricketers—fast bowlers Haris Rauf and Zaman Khan, along with leg-spinner Usama Mir—to participate in the Big Bash League 2023-24.
The decision to issue these NOCs reflects the PCB’s strategic approach to balancing the players’ need for match exposure with the essential requirement of managing their workloads efficiently.
Haris Rauf and Usama Mir are granted NOCs for an allocation of five matches each during the Big Bash League, while Zaman Khan has received an NOC for four matches. These fixtures are scheduled to unfold between 7th and 28th December.
This thoughtful decision showcases the PCB’s dedication to nurturing talent, ensuring players’ participation in top-flight leagues worldwide, and prioritizing their development within the context of the national team’s broader objectives.
