Pindi Cricket Stadium Chosen as Venue for President’s Trophy 2023-24 Final

The stage is set for the thrilling final of the President’s Trophy Grade-I 2023-24, as the prestigious match between Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) will grace the iconic Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. Originally scheduled to be held elsewhere, the final has been rescheduled and relocated to Pindi Cricket Stadium, with matches slated to take place from 9 to 13 February.

This exciting development comes after an intense series of matches, where seven departmental teams battled it out over seven rounds of games, each team playing six matches, in Karachi. Among the teams vying for the top spot, WAPDA and SNGPL emerged as the finalists, securing their positions at the summit of the points table with five and four wins respectively.

The final promises to be a riveting encounter, with WAPDA and SNGPL showcasing their talent and determination on the cricketing stage. Mohammad Sajid and Waleed Yaqub will officiate as the on-field umpires, ensuring a fair and impartial contest, while Nadeem Arshad will oversee proceedings as the match referee.
