A Plus newest serial Bheegi Palkain highlights the story of a lovely girl named Meherbano whose life becomes wretched after the sudden death of her young husband Umer.

Meherbano, who was already the center of attention in every gathering and was given prominence and admiration over her sister in law Fareeha which had already filled her up with jealousy, especially after she was rejected by Bilal who expressed fondness for Meherbano instead, Fareeha does everything in her aptitude to blame Meherbano of having an immoral character.

Fareeha is engaged to Hasan since childhood, who is settled abroad and they haven’t seen each other in years. Fareeha decides to break her engagement since she never adored Hasan but she is shocked to see a completely groomed Hassan after his return.

The real plot twist sets in when when Hassan also develops a soft corner for the fine-looking young widow (Meherbano) in Fareeha’s house.
